Have you ever been tasked with trying to capture the likeness of an actual human, living or dead?
Finally, after years of nobody asking, here is my process to this common art hurdle many struggle to clear.
These are my steps condensed down to 6 pages, there are other approaches, but this works for me. The key is it’s simple enough to be repeatable without having to re-learn it every time it comes up.
Included on the inside is a fancy poster showing a memetastic example of a likeness I did for a commission.
This is a single page BnW zine folded into a 6 page mini comic, measuring 4.25” x 5.5”
